The Role
Personio was founded in 2015 and its mission is to enable better organisations. Personio simplifies and automates recruiting, payroll and human resource management software (all-in-one) for small to medium-sized businesses. Our HQ is in Munich and we have offices in London and Madrid. We have just started to build out our Irish sales and software engineering hub in Dublin from scratch. As Head of Sales Strategy & Operations, you will partner with our sales leadership team to sharpen decision making, drive efficiencies, and increase speed of execution of our rapidly growing business. We are looking for someone who can scale our sales operations team into a world class function by  building and growing sales operations and sales engineering roles. This person will actively collaborate with multiple stakeholders, support and shadow the sales team, introduce technology wisely and be comfortable with ongoing innovation. Your part in our team counts as a critical piece of the sales puzzle that creates our system for selling and will help us shape the path to becoming the category leading HR software in Europe. Your role is not limited to but will include:

Strategy & structure
  • Support the sales, marketing and partnership leadership team in key strategic decisions by synthesising data insights
  • Support the establishment of sales strategies based on data analysis and forecasts
  • Build and optimise the sales process that improves conversions, shortens sales cycles, and maximises sales wins
  • Align with the sales leadership team in defining, structuring and assigning sales territories along with the team structure
Data & analytics
  • Own, measure and evaluate sales data for accurate forecasting, performance management and reporting 
  • Translate data insights into actions to drive decision-making and support the sales teams and leadership 
Tools
  • Identify the need for and manage the use of technical tools and platforms, incl. Salesforce, Salesloft etc.
Leadership
  • Lead existing sales operations analysts, sales enablement and marketing operations 
  • Launch and lead the solutions engineering function
Communication & collaboration
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and overall good communication throughout the team 
  • Collaborate with your partners & stakeholders such as sales leaders, sales people, sales enablement & marketing

What you need to succeed
  • You have a minimum of 10 years experience in Sales Operations Management (SaaS companies preferred)
  • You have a thorough understanding of B2B software sales processes and CRM tools due to previous experience
  • You are data driven, think analytically and are strong in defining processes (and have examples to show for it)
  • You enjoy cross-functional collaboration and are at ease in managing different stakeholders 
  • You are passionate about quality control and efficiency
  • You have deep Salesforce experience (administrator certification is a plus) 
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal)
