Personio is looking for a senior customer marketing professional to define our customer marketing strategy, work with different teams to create scalable processes, build positive relationships with potential reference customers, and manage the implementation of customer case studies, assets and sales tools.
As Senior Customer Marketing Manager your mission is to engage with customers, build a positive relationship with them, and empower them to share their success stories. You will define and champion the overall marketing strategy for our customer reference program while fulfilling ongoing customer reference needs.
Your tasks and responsibilities will include:
Look for new ways to promote customer success stories and take the customer reference program to the next level
Identify and prioritize prospective reference customers to create a pipeline of customer success stories that align to our core value proposition
Work with sales and customer success teams to define repeatable, scalable processes for securing reference customers and success storiesTurn customer case studies into compelling stories and quotes that can be used in marketing campaigns and sales cycles
Identify and cultivate potential customer spokespersons for PR and industry events
Create an easy to use customer reference library for sales and marketing teams that includes case studies, quotes and customer insights
Analyse the performance and measure the impact of customer reference programs to improve effectiveness and drive higher participation

You are someone with proven expertise in business development, customer marketing or customer success
You speak fluent German and English, Spanish is a plus
You are an excellent writer, communicator and storyteller who inspires others
You think strategically and are process oriented, able to manage multiple stakeholders, inputs, and work streams
You’re highly organized and able to manage as well as measure the impact of your work
You have a strong sense of accountability and can think creatively when it comes to matching sales needs with available customer reference assets
You’re an influencer, problem solver and a closer - if one approach doesn’t work you try another
You enjoy changing gears, building relationships and working cross-functionally
Ideally, you also have experience with CRM solutions and supporting a global sales team
You are available for occasional business travel
