Job description
Join Personio as Junior Office IT Administrator and take an active role in shaping our internal IT infrastructure to provide a productive workplace for more than 250 motivated and talented colleagues. In this position, you will play a critical role in facilitating the robust operation and security of our internal networks and services for our office located in Madrid, Spain. You will report to the Manager Office IT in Munich, Germany. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
Be the first point of contact for users on all topics relating to the IT equipment of workplaces
Provide support for our colleagues
Assist with the analysis, troubleshooting and correction of hardware and software problems
Execute the installation of the workstations and the setting up of workplaces
Write technical documentation
Your profile
Basic experience in IT infrastructure as well as good networking knowledge (UniFi / pfSense is a plus)
Experience working with *nix and MacOS-based systems
You enjoy scripting and automation, learning and trying out new technologies
You have the ability to work independently in a result-oriented way
You are highly organised and proactive
You have a distinctive customer and service orientation
You have Professional level of English and Spanish for both written and verbal communications
You are eligible to work in the EU
Nice-to-have:
AWS Experience
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
Administrative knowledge using command-line tools
German communication skills are a plus
